A man sitting alone,
Stares ahead and sees,
Some chairs: a table with six
Seats facing inwards to a glass table.
There is a bookcase with many tomes,
Bound in brown paper.
The sides of the room are of glass,
And the roof slopes downwards from the
Wall: there is no light - save that of
The room which is in half.
Who is this man alone,
Sitting without a care and thought?
Suddenly he gets up and walks inside.
Stares ahead and sees,
Some chairs: a table with six
Seats facing inwards to a glass table.
There is a bookcase with many tomes,
Bound in brown paper.
The sides of the room are of glass,
And the roof slopes downwards from the
Wall: there is no light - save that of
The room which is in half.
Who is this man alone,
Sitting without a care and thought?
Suddenly he gets up and walks inside.
